Keep Thinking

Thinking is the ultimate human resource. Yet we can never be satisfied with our most important skills. No matter how good we become, we always wanna be better.
"Six thinking hats" is about the way of thinking in different situations. Every hat has a color and the way the thinking goes is also in accordance with the color. The hats are...

  • Facts and Information (White): Personifies Neutral and Objective. Considering purely what information is available, what we need to get?
  • Feelings and Emotions (Red): Suggests anger, rage and intuition. Instinctive gut reaction or statements of emotional feeling (but no justification).
  • Critical Judgment (Black): Projects somber and serious. Logic applied to identify flaws or weakness in an idea
  • Positive Approach (Yellow): Means sunny and positive. Optimistic and brings hope and open thinking, seeking harmony.
  • Creativity (Green): Represents grass and fertility. Statements of provocation and investigation, Creativity and new ideas, Explorations, alternatives.
  • The big picture (Blue): Thinking about Thinking. Control and organization of the thought process is what the hat suggests.

If no one puts forward an idea, where do they come from?? Make a map first n select which hat you would choose according to the situation. The biggest enemy of thinking is complexity for that leads to confusion. When thinking is clear and simple it becomes enjoyable and effective.
